Join the Board of Theatre Porto

Theatre Porto is an award winning charity and specialist children’s theatre in Cheshire. From our venue in Ellesmere Port, we create original productions, run year-round programmes for children, young people and families, and work in partnership with schools, communities and local organisations to create opportunities which are inspiring, engaging and accessible. As we grow our work and deepen our impact locally, regionally and nationally, we’re looking for new trustees to join us.

What we’re looking for

We’d particularly welcome people with experience in:

• Finance
• Legal
• Safeguarding
• Facilities Management
• Education (schools, colleges or wider learning environments)

We’d also be glad to hear from people who:

• Live in Ellesmere Port
• Are aged 18–30 and want to build leadership experience

(None of these are essential. Curiosity, care and commitment are more important.)

What’s involved
Trustees meet regularly through the year to provide oversight, support and strategic thinking for our small, ambitious team. You don’t need previous board experience.
