Across 12 captivating tales, yule (see what we did there) meet unlikely heroes, talking creatures and witness impossible acts of bravery and hilarity!
Twelve Yuletide Yarns is a celebration of the things that matter most – courage, generosity and fairness – with just the right amount of anarchy and mischief.
It is the perfect space to gather and celebrate the joy of the winter season, for anyone aged 6+.
Twelve Yuletide Yarns was inspired by the creative work of children in primary schools in Tendring and Ellesmere Port.
Twelve Yuletide Yarns has been made possible thanks to the generous support of Arts Council England with funds from the National Lottery and the support of Tendring District Council and the Shared Prosperity Fund.

“Thank you so much, it was brilliant we will be back…” – Audience Member
“I loved the quirkiness, the delivery, the simple set and the beautiful music was absolutely mesmerising . The children loved it and the shortness of each Yarn meant it held the attention of even the wriggliest. They just didn’t know what was coming next! Fantastic performances…” – Deputy Headteacher, Essex
