Sanctuary Arts Session

As part of our programme of work at Theatre Porto we are excited to be running another Sanctuary Arts Session. A chance to explore and make art for our families Seeking Sanctuary and those from Diverse Cultural Backgrounds living in the area; as well as offering a space to enjoy each other’s company and get to know our community better.
During the session will be looking at fingerpainting and line drawing – taking inspiration from various cultures and traditional arts practices from around the world. A chance to create your own art piece and also work together to make a piece of art we hope to exhibit as part of Through the eyes of children – an exhibition running at Theatre Porto during Refugee Week. No previous art experience is needed – just come along, grab a drink from our cafe and enjoy time together!
Our regular Family Hangout will be running at the same time, so a chance to be supported to engage with our regular activities for children, young people and their families.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
