Theatre Porto is keen to become a place where live music can happen. A place where musicians – especially those from Ellesmere Port can share their music with an audience,  and we want YOU to be part of it!

We’re all about supporting young talent, so if you’re between 16-25 years old, we’re particularly eager to hear from you!

How can we help?

• We’ve set aside two special dates for gig nights, where we’ll open up our theatre and event space to three local bands/musicians
• You’ll receive a small fee for your performance, and then the ticket sales from the night will be divided among the acts
• You’ll get 45 minutes before the gig to soundcheck, and you’ll be supported by a technician throughout the night

Who can get involved?*

• We welcome all styles, ages, and levels of experience
• Priority will be given to those aged 16-25 and from Ellesmere Port, but anyone with a passion for music is encouraged to express interest
• You should have a set of 15, 30, or 45 minutes
• Be available between somewhere between August 8th-12th (exact dates and times to be negotiated)

Here’s the breakdown of what you can expect to earn:

• 15-minute slot: £50 + 15% of ticket sales
• 30-minute slot: £100 + 30% of ticket sales
• 45-minute slot: £150 + 45% of ticket sales

(Note: Tickets will be offered on a ‘pay what you like’ model, and we’ll keep the bar takings to cover our costs)
