Café Management – call out for informal expressions of interest

The Café at Theatre Porto will soon be looking for new management.

We are currently considering two business models:

A) Theatre Porto will take on the operation of the cafe and as such we’d be looking to recruit an employee to a salaried role of ‘Café Manager’. The Café Manager would have responsibility for food prep, purchasing, FoH including Barista duties, managing the budget and managing a small team of supporting staff.

Or

B) We continue the current model of offering a partnership agreement for an organisation, business or charity to run the Café at Theatre Porto on our behalf. This current model involves a monthly rental fee and a small profit share agreement.

Please note this is not currently a formal recruitment opportunity or a tender process – that will follow once we have made a decision about our preferred operating model.
