Hello from Theatre Porto!
We hope this finds you well. We’re reaching out to share some brilliant opportunities this spring at Theatre Porto – Ellesmere Port’s very own dedicated theatre for children, young people and families.
From playful workshops to imaginative performances and creative collaborations, we offer experiences that spark curiosity, build confidence and celebrate every young person’s voice. Whether you’re thinking of a school trip to our magical venue, a creative workshop in your classroom, or even co-creating something brand new – we’d love to team up with you.

Flibbertigibbet presents The Farmer and The Clown
Can a friendship span the generations? Can old dogs learn new tricks? Can the young clown find its way home?
A story of unexpected friendship told through physical comedy and dance adapted from the charming picture-book by author and illustrator Marla Frazee.
An old hard-working farmer lives alone. One day, a baby clown accidentally bounces off a passing circus train and is separated from his family and friends.

EGO Arts presents You Know My Mum
A cheeky comedy about life and death for all the family.
Alex is a 25-year-old woman with Down’s syndrome struggling with the death of her mum. One day, she discovers Bluey, a baby bird, in her garden.
While Bluey learns about fried chicken factoriesand joins a boot camp for birds, Alex battles Harry Potter monsters and dreams about life after death. As her wild imagination comes to life, Alex learns that the love she thought she lost is actually all around her.
Content warnings: sudden loud noises, some scary moments and conversations about death.
