Theatre Porto

Schools Mailshot – March 2025

Hello from Theatre Porto!

We hope this finds you well. We’re reaching out to share some brilliant opportunities this spring at Theatre Porto – Ellesmere Port’s very own dedicated theatre for children, young people and families.

From playful workshops to imaginative performances and creative collaborations, we offer experiences that spark curiosity, build confidence and celebrate every young person’s voice. Whether you’re thinking of a school trip to our magical venue, a creative workshop in your classroom, or even co-creating something brand new – we’d love to team up with you.

Take a look at what’s coming up below, or get in touch if you’d like to chat about shaping something unique for your school.

Flibbertigibbet presents The Farmer and The Clown

Can a friendship span the generations? Can old dogs learn new tricks? Can the young clown find its way home?

A story of unexpected friendship told through physical comedy and dance adapted from the charming picture-book by author and illustrator Marla Frazee.

An old hard-working farmer lives alone. One day, a baby clown accidentally bounces off a passing circus train and is separated from his family and friends.
