A Magical, Affordable Show for All Ages

Star of Wonder at Unity Theatre This December

This December, the festive season comes alive with the return of Star of Wonder, a heartwarming and hilarious family show that promises to be one of the highlights of the holiday season. Originally created and produced by Theatre Porto in co-production with the international Teatro Pomodoro, Star of Wonder will light up the Unity Theatre in Liverpool this December.

Join three friends on an enchanting adventure as they follow a star across the night sky. Along the way, they stumble, squabble, and face obstacles before finally discovering what they’ve been searching for. The result is a captivating, laugh-out-loud performance that blends clowning, puppetry, and magical interactions in a way that will delight audiences of all ages.

With public performances on Tuesday 17th December at 5:30pm, and on Saturday 21st December at 11am and 2pm, Star of Wonder is the perfect festive outing for Merseyside families.

A Truly Inclusive Experience
The beauty of Star of Wonder lies in its ability to speak to everyone, regardless of age, background, or language. The show features no spoken words, only a magical soundtrack and a unique blend of physical comedy, making it accessible to all, including those for whom English is not a first language.

In addition, the diverse cast of international and learning-disabled performers brings fresh perspectives and boundless creativity to the stage. It’s a show that celebrates inclusion, showing children and adults alike that the theatre is a space for everyone.

What Audiences Said
Star of Wonder has been met with praise from audiences far and wide:

“It was such a great show for all. The cast made it brilliant.”
“I think it’s wonderful that the cast were so diverse, promoting good role models to the future generation.”
“Just the right amount of humour, drama, and wonder to delight adults and children of all ages.”
