‘The Jeweller’s Daughter’ is a project full of celebration, culture and interaction. Come along and experience a scratch sharing of this interactive storytelling show, developed by Natasha Chapman.
Based on a true story, the audience will be invited to get involved in playful and creative ways as they learn together about the culture of a little island in the Indian Ocean called Zanzibar; of a girl whose family were forced to leave and the welcome and community they then found.
Full of colour, costumes, music and memories – The Jeweller’s Daughter aims to celebrate difference, bring joy and encourage us to learn about others experiences. Come and explore something different!
This project has been made possible by support from Big Imaginations, Z-arts and Theatre Porto.
