Take some brand-new, exciting, surprising writing – from the heads and hearts of a dozen beautiful teenagers – and hand it over to two professional actors.
Result?
Writing Goes Live is an evening of true stories, beautifully balanced sentences, and verbal anarchy. There will be prose, snatches of poetry, and pieces of writing that merge the two. Also, maybe a monologue or three, and definitely an evening of writing written especially-for-performance then put together with love and care. You will be transported to the worlds of others, given space for self-reflection and, without doubt, brought to a state of laughter.

What is Theatre Porto ‘Pay what you like‘?
Pay what you like – this means all are welcome to watch the performance and you do not have to pay for a ticket. If you CAN make a contribution, this will ensure we are able to keep our performances and activities free and low cost to those who most need it.
