CASTING CALL OUT – Baba Yaga

Baba Yaga is an original collaboration between Theatre Hullabaloo, a pioneering theatre company making work for young audiences based in the North East of England, and acclaimed Theatre Porto (formerly Action Transport Theatre) based in Ellesmere Port, which makes work ‘for, by and with’ children and young people.

A physical, thrilling storytelling piece for audiences of 6 years and above, this new version of the Baba Yaga myths is a contemporary adventure story of bravery and hope in a world that often seems full of threat.

We are currently casting for BABA YAGA which will be shown at Theatre Porto, The Hullabaloo and the egg in Bath. This show is a remount following a hugely successful run in 2022. We are now looking to recast one of the two performers.

One Performer to play: BOY

One highly skilled male or male-identifying performer required. Physical skills and sensitivity with playful, childlike qualities.

All performers need to have experience of making/performing work for schools and family audiences.
