Theatre Porto are delighted to be hosting ‘Home Cooked with Love’ again in 2026 – a relaxed and enjoyable food sharing event to welcome and celebrate families seeking sanctuary, community or new to the area. We’ve had a lovely time meeting together in 2025 – do look at our photos below to get an idea of what the event is like.
As an inclusive venue and child-centred theatre company, we want to ensure that all families feel at home at Theatre Porto and we look forward to welcoming families from different nationalities and cultural backgrounds.
If you are a Family Seeking Sanctuary, or of Diverse Cultural Heritage or you would simply like to come along and support – we would love to hear from you.

- Please note, if you are bringing food to share on the day, we would appreciate a list of the ingredients to help those with food allergies/ intolerances – do bring with you!
- Theatre Porto will be able to provide ingredients/cover costs for food recipes in advance, if any family would like to contribute food and would find this support helpful, just let us know
