Theatre Porto is thrilled to announce the return of our beloved classic, Little Red, to its North-West roots. This enchanting production has captured hearts and minds with its captivating adventure, visually stunning storytelling, and melodies that will have you humming all winter long. “Little Red” is a playful and imaginative twist on a timeless tale, making it the perfect festive delight for families with young ones (ages 4+).

Follow our feisty heroine as she follows the path to Grandma’s house, meeting talking sheep, dancing trees and the charismatic, jazz-singing ‘Wolfie’ along the way.

With irresistible adventure, superb visual storytelling and songs that you’ll be humming all winter, Little Red is the perfect festive treat for families who want something a little different…

Originally commissioned by Unity Theatre in Liverpool back in 2016, this production is making a triumphant return to the North West, with a fresh and exciting rendition brought to you by Theatre Porto, HOME, MLCP and in association with Eastern Angles.

The original script, crafted by the award-winning Kevin Dyer, was developed through a creative process led by the original director, Nina Hajiyianni, who is delighted to be revisiting this captivating tale:
