Theatre Porto have been a producer of original theatre and wide-ranging youth and community work for over 35 years. Founded in 1986 as Action Transport Theatre, the company has a strong track-record, transforming the lives of local children, young people, and wider communities.
The focus on making imaginative, and authentic professional theatre has established the company as one of the leading performing arts companies in England, ‘for, by and with’ children and young people, reaching thousands of participants and audience members each year.
We couldn’t have done that without the generous support of our main funders – Arts Council England, Cheshire West and Chester Council as well as many other foundations and companies.
Special thanks to the original cast who were part of the devising process for Little Red – Natalia Campbell, Simone Lewis, Harvey Robinson and Luca Rutherford. Thanks too, to all the creatives and technical staff who have worked on the show to date!
In addition, we’d like to thank:
HOME creative and production Teams.
Eastern Angles for the shows revival in Ipswich last year, and for all their help in this production.
All our previous production photographers Mike Kwasniak, Brian Roberts and Sam Ryley.
Unity Theatre for the hire of the radio mic, and of course for originally opening Little Red back in 2016.
