Twelve Yuletide Yarns is a vibrant collection of stories and poems celebrating the magic of winter – packed with wonder, laughter, and a few unexpected carrot chases along the way.
The show is written by celebrated British poet, broadcaster, and author Murray Lachlan Young, and at the heart of the show is an acclaimed team of artists and creatives:

Lead Storyteller: Rew Lowe – award-winning actor-musician and TV favourite from Grandpa in my Pocket and The Ha Ha Hairies
-

-

Produced by Matthew Linley for Funnelwick Limb, the show is co-produced by Theatre Porto and Eastern Angles. This year’s festive tour includes performances at Harwich Arts Centre, Sunspot Jaywick, and Theatre Porto’s home in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire. It will also visit a wide range of schools and venues across both Essex and Cheshire.
Theatre Porto’s involvement builds on our commitment to bold, playful work made with, by and for children and young people – and to bringing high-quality, imaginative theatre into communities where it’s least expected but most needed.
Twelve Yuletide Yarns is perfect for ages 6+ and families looking for something magical this winter.
